Finn was the biggest question mark of the new characters to me. Stormtroopers by their very nature are meant to be nameless, obedient pawns and for one of them to have a conscience and a problem with blindly following orders makes him an immediate threat to the First Order. In fact his very existence is symbolic of rebellion which is just what a totalitarian regime doesn’t want among their ranks. This led me to wonder where they found him in the first place.

Some are convinced he will become a Jedi. I’m less certain of that since we know that wielding a lightsaber doesn’t necessarily denote strength in the Force. It would be neat for him to be Force-sensitive but instead I’d like to see him go from obscurity to a legendary Resistance fighter who’s name is known across the galaxy. Time will tell.
